“ Very good burger in Palm Desert. Popular place, with friendly staff. First time here, so I got the basic as not to cloud my tasting with all sorts of toppings. My burger was the basic cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce with mayo and mustard. It has a good sized hamburger patty, that is juicy for sure but not really seasoned much. Fries were medium cut and fried well, giving an old school diner type of taste. Companion ordered the chili burger, with onions. No beans in the chili, which is the best way to do it on a burger. They liked it very much. Place is kinda small and tight for the amount of business they are doing. But fun tropical tiki hut kinda theme. Everything is ala cart, and the burgers are in the 15 to 20 dollar range. Massive menu (see pics). Plenty of other options besides burgers too. All in all, I'd definitely go back. ”

“ I must admit, I didn’t have high hopes for this place at first, initially thinking it was just another run-of-the-mill burger joint. However, I was pleasantly surprised—it’s so much more than that! We were primarily there for the burgers, and I highly recommend arriving early, as I’ve heard the wait can get quite lengthy, especially during peak hours. We decided to plan our dinner for 5:30 PM, which turned out to be a perfect choice as we managed to avoid the crowds. We shared the "Bacon Me Crazy" burger and the "Tri Fry." The burger was absolutely mouthwatering, loaded with crispy bacon and delicious toppings that complemented the juicy patty perfectly. The "Tri Fry," a generous platter of fries, was definitely enough to satisfy five light eaters—each bite was crispy and flavorful! And let’s not forget the onion rings—they were absolutely to die for! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, they were the perfect side to our meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting the area. With its delightful atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service, it’s a hidden gem that you won’t want to miss! ”

“ This was my second time at Grill-A-Burger and it was excellent! We were a party of 6 and got seated right away, our server was so nice and the service was perfect! Got quick refills on our drinks, ordered right away and got our food really fast! I got #8 - hokey Smokey - I would 100% order it again! The burger was cooked perfectly, the bbq sauce had a touch of sweet to it and everything was delicious! We got the trifecta as a side - so sweet potato fries, onion rings, and regular fries. They were all excellent, however I found the sweet potatoes the best. We ordered one trifecta (they say serves 3-4) but it was able to feed 6! ”

“ We visited Grill-A-Burger on a busy Friday night, and despite the crowd, the service and food were impressively quick. We shared a mini cheeseburger and the chili cheese fries—both were absolutely fantastic. Everything was fresh and delicious. The chili, made with just meat (no beans or veggies), was perfect for topping the fries. We paid 22 before tip. ”

“ Saw this place on Guy Fieri's show, as so many others have. Since we were in the area, we had to see what the fuss was about. I ordered the Devil's Revenge and the girlfriend ordered the Tuscan Burger. We ordered garlic fries and milkshakes as well. It's been a while since I stuffed myself so thoroughly full, so you know it was good! My burger wasn't quite as spicy as the menu made it seem but it there was a decent amount of heat and all the toppings played nicely together. The burger patty itself was grilled to perfection. Definitely the best burger I've had in quite some time. Tried some of the Tuscan Burger too, which came on focaccia bread. Very unique burger with Italian accents that worked surprisingly well. I may order this instead on our next visit. We finished everything off with delicious chocolate malts. One is probably sufficient to split between two people. After all that food, I feel like a rolly-polly Templeton the Rat from "Charlotte's Web" after the night at the county fair! *hiccup* *belch*. Do believe the hype! ”

“ This is simply the best hamburger you are going to find. Period. End of discussion. It is also the best milk shake and the best fries, and if you've been there you know it is great. Four stars for a hamburger joint is unusual. I have taken the position that it is not possible for a quick service place to be 5 stars and generally that's my rule. But Grill-A-Burger is going to be my exception. The meat is first class and tasty. The dressing generous. And they will dress it in many many versions. The milk shakes are spindled ice cream, generous and tasty. I would rave about them if that's all they sold, but the Fries are just as good. Crispy and salty and hot and generous. And you have a choice of regular or sweet potato. I usually settle for sweet potato, here I crave them. They are just as meaty and crisp as the regular fries. And the portion is generous. I have to tell you, this the kind of place you find yourself making excuses to go to. Close enough is anytime your in the Coachella Valley at lunch time. You'll find yourself there time and time again. Love the place, love the staff. And Guy Fieri likes it to. Did I mention that they have lots of ways to fix the burger? What ever adventure you have in mind, make ti Grill-A-Burger. ”

“ This was easily the best place we ate on the entire trip, and quite possibly the best burger I've ever had in my life. I ordered the Devil's Revenge, and every bite was packed with flavor. The avocado fries were equally delicious, perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy inside. My kids loved their hot dogs, and the root beer brain freeze was as addictive as advertised! If you’re a burger lover, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend! ”
